Did you know cigarette butts are made of plastic and leach harmful chemicals into the water? On this national day of awareness, we’re focusing our efforts on collecting as many butts as possible—and sending a clear message that our lakes deserve better.

So far in 2025, our volunteers have already removed over 150,000 pieces of litter. Join us to push that number even higher and tackle one of the most persistent forms of pollution.
